By the year 2010, our province will strive to achieve energy-saving building proportion reached 25 percent, and building energy efficiency 18 percent more than in saving 3 million tons Biaomei to the goal.  A few days ago, our province issued the "energy-saving construction in Hebei Province (2007-2010) development plan."

 According to the plan, building energy conservation in our province will implement a mandatory technical standards for the entire process of monitoring to ensure that cities and counties all new residential buildings in the implementation of energy-saving 65 percent standard, public buildings strictly implement energy-saving 50 percent standard.

 The province will complete the task of transforming 13 million square meters, of which 3 million square meters completed in Tangshan, Shijiazhuang completion of 2 million square meters, Baoding, Handan the completion of 1.2 million square meters, Chengde, Qinhuangdao, Xingtai the completion of 1 million square meters, completed in Langfang 800,000 square meters, Cangzhou, Zhangjiakou, Hengshui the completion of 600,000 square meters.

According to the plan, cities and towns will be enacted as soon as possible heating measurement fees, measurement standards, and actively implement the measures in accordance with the heat charging.  Building new towns, must design, installation of household control, temperature measurement and control functions of the heating system, gradually implement the system on two charges of price measurement.

 Planning also pointed out that our province will speed up the process of integration of solar  energy and buildings, establish and improve the climate for our province characteristics of the solar-thermal, photovoltaic building norms and standards for integration of the system.
